A review of Calvin's Cowboy
Texas cowboys, Calvin and John are adorable in this sweet, natural romance. The story moves easily, and keeps the reader enthralled throughout. There are few secondary characters but those that exist lend a helping hand in keeping the plot alive and light.

A review of Between States Book 2: Beneath a Yankee Sky
A fantastic read, resurrecting my experience from reading the first of this series long ago, Under a Confederate Moon. I love Civil War era novels and the Between State series satisfies my hankering. Book two, Beneath a Yankee Sky masterfully picks up where the previous one left. Caleb and Brance are deserters now, leaving behind the war no one wanted to participate – as history states over and over again. However, their campsite is discovered by hunters, putting not only their human selves in jeopardy (they were first caught while making love), but their bobcat personas as well – cat fur is a valued commodity back in that day.

Caleb and Brance are enchanting characters, finding out more about their past lives during this read; a time before becoming bobcat shifters. Brance, an Amish minister’s son and Caleb, an Appalachian farmer’s son are just right for this period piece, giving the premise a richer, more genuine, authenticity.

Now on to reading the third in this series, A More Perfect Union

A review of An Officer and His Gentleman
An Officer and His Gentleman was an interesting story, full of youthful angst and genuine romantic ideals. Brody and Chance are earthy, stout characters who kept the plot moving rapidly. It’s a story worth reading many times again.

A review of Trucker and Pup
As written on Good Reads:

Trucker and Pup was a delightful story with light BDSM and Dom/sub playfulness. Joey and Kevin were endearing as their relationship develops. Joey has never told his parents about being gay, whereas Kevin has been disowned by his parents since coming out. As their romance gets stronger, Joey is torn between being freely in the open with his lover and possibly loosing the only family he has. Kevin on the other hand is coming into himself; discovering his joys and wants and wishes as Joey gives him confidence and esteem.

A nice blend of youthful angst, combined with real life dilemma and lessons, sprinkled with titillating carnal congresses. I love this story and will be reading it many times again.

A review of Forever Bound
The story is natural as a romance develops between two people from similar forces; medicine and military. Both save lives, but in the commission of that act can loose those lives just as easily.

Aaron and John are hot in the sack, but their unique friendship stands out the most. Without words they communicate, knowing what the other needs at the most opportune moments. Still, their romance is now candy and flowers and little hearts floating around their heads. Instead it’s raw, genuine and its evolution hard won but sustaining.

Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
