A Rare Find by Emily Lewis

It's a comic that takes its time with the story. The humor is definitely present, but it doesn't force itself. The characters are well-developed and intriguing. As a bundle, that's something that can be hard to find — even in written novels, let alone a graphic novel. The art is also detailed and eye-pleasing without being too busy or overly stylistic.

The story is about rock/pop star Stasia who, after dealing with a long string of bad relationships, spontaneously accepts a marriage proposal from a ”fan” during her concert. The ”fan” was Guy, a high school guidance counselor who was actually only holding a ”MARRY ME” sign for a friend, the wacky Parker, while she went to the bathroom and had never even listened to any of the star's music. As her sister/manager tries to keep things from getting out of control with the press and the public, Stasia and Guy try to figure each other out.
