I can not believe the value that had to have to defend an ideal until his death. How many people are influenced only by what people think?. For me a very clear example of this are the counselors of kings spoken of in the book. They think themselves wise counselors and fear that some stranger could give an opinion to which they are not accustomed. Just criticize them for being different than you are accustomed to hearing, downplay trying it. But the worst is that if that same opinion makes a person of higher rank, will do the opposite. We adulation and praised by such a great idea.
