DESCRIPTION
In Arthur Conan Doyle's short story "The Man with the Twisted Lip", Sherlock Holmes goes undercover in the opium dens of London in an attempt to locate a client's missing husband. The story published in 1891 is unique in that in the end there is no crime that has been committed and Holmes does not explain how he came about his solving the mystery.
