DESCRIPTION
From the hilarious pages of Youngbroads & Oldblood, comes Bragade, the heroes with inflated egos as big as their biceps!

Meet Gallstone, the disgruntled ex-leader of Oldblood kicked out because of an Underoos licensing dispute, Gerbil (able to produce near infinite numbers of live Gerbils from her fingertips),Kayopectate (Chronically diarrheic master of eastern arts),Coolwhip (a mutant who can generate whipped cream from his hands), Seagull (able to secrete caustic white semi-solids and eat garbage, often simultaneously), Static, (who was trapped in a dryer by her abusive parents) and Fatlas, an Elvis impersonator who has grown into enormous size after ingesting starchy foods!

When terrorists seize a skyscraper, (as in Die Hard), the team of heroes known as Bragade leaps into action. Sadly, that action consists mostly of bickering with each other and striking an impressive pose for the media.

"Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but for Parody Press! itís the surest form of hilarity, even when the source material may be found wanting. In this case it is Brigade, which spun off from Youngblood. The satire is derived as much from the cliches of current comics, the creators and their attitudes, as the actual title being parodied.

Previous targets of Parody Press’s barbs, Cable TV and The Unfunny X-Cons as well as the creator himself, Rob Liefeld, appear to illustrate some of the more unfortunate and overused conventions of the comics field, such as huge shoulder pads, belts on thighs, and an overabundance of angst-ridden mutants.
