Alanna and Jeff travel to New Orleans, where their client Dracula is in a property dispute is with best-selling horror novelist Ayn Wrice—who is Chase Hawkins’s client. Ms. Wrice has renovated the old mansion and paid all its back taxes, but W&B have proof that their as-yet unnamed client is the true owner. Meanwhile, Dracula wanders around the French Quarter and learns about the popularity of Wrice’s character, the Vampire Latté.

Note: This issue satirizes popular author Ann Rice and her novels about the Vampire Lestat. The back cover is a takeoff on a newspaper ad once taken out by Ann Rice in The New Orleans Times-Picayune.
