When Do Women Hit The Wall? The answer is now! In the immortal words of Bill Gates, “a woman’s physiological age is 28.” That being said, the numbers continue to show that women are still fighting an uphill battle in the workplace. According to Glassdoor’s 2018 review of employee benefits, knowledge, and attitudes towards changes at work, only 7% of respondents said they were optimistic about the future. And while we know this enthusiasm rate is well below men’s (73% vs. 68%), it’s still concerning when you consider that 78% of employees said they are looking forward to keeping their current job. With so many women stuck in jobs that aren’t creating sustainable opportunities for themselves or their families — and with reports showing that more than half of working mothers will leave their jobs to take care of children — it can be hard to know where to begin looking for new career opportunities. Fortunately, there are several key dates that signify when your career may be reaching its limit. But before you let go of your ambition and resignation letters, here’s why not every job fits everyone.

When Do Women Hit The Wall?

There is no one answer to this question. Some women may reach the physical or emotional wall while other women may not. It is important to find out what is rubbing you the most and do something about it.

What Are The Reasons Women Hit The Wall?

    1. Working Full Time:

If you are working full-time, you may be a bit overworked. Some people work so hard that they neglect their personal health and wellness.

    2. Working in a field that is not suitable for women:

If you are a woman and you choose to work in a field that is not suitable for women, then chances are high that you will hit the wall at some point. You need to find out what is wrong with this industry and find an alternative path to take so that you can get rid of this problem.

    3. Lack of adequate support from your family:

Many women don’t have the support of their family members or the right kind of support system at home for them to be able to make it through tough times in their lives when they hit the wall. They need to make sure that they have someone who can help them when they hit the wall and help them get back on track again.

    4. Lack of self-confidence:

Many women do not believe in themselves enough to take risks or try new things because they do not believe it will work out for them or because they are afraid of failure so they just stick with what they know works for them which is the same thing every other person has done before them which means there is no risk involved whatsoever but at the same time if something does not work out then there’s nothing new on which she can build her confidence so she just stays where she’s at until she hits the wall.

    5. Lack of proper support from the people around her:

A lot of women are not supported by the people around them and they feel like they have to take care of things on their own but if they do not have anyone to help them when they hit the wall then that’s when they hit it and there is nothing left to do but give up.

    6. Lack of financial support:

Women need money to survive so if you’re a woman who is struggling financially it may be difficult for you to get through tough times in your life when you hit the wall. This can lead a woman to turn down promotions that are not good because she may be putting herself at risk of losing her job which will make it hard for her to get another one later down the road.

    7. Lack of proper guidance:

Many women are not given proper guidance and direction in life which can lead them into making bad decisions that can lead them to hit the wall if they don’t get their act together fast enough because every day that passes increases their chances of hitting the wall so if something isn’t done about this problem as soon as possible then there’s no telling how long it will take for this problem to get resolved before she hits the wall.

Why Now’s The Time To Choose Your Next Step?

    1. The job market

Due to the fact that there are so many people who are looking for jobs and not enough jobs available for them, it is very hard for most people to find work and if you’re looking for a job then it is going to be very difficult for you to find a job.

    2. The economy

The economy has been in bad shape since 2009 so the economy has been going down and the unemployment rate has been increasing every year after year which means that there are more and more people looking for work but not enough jobs available which are why many people have to settle with part-time or temporary jobs or even go without a job at all.

    3. The cost of living

The cost of living has also gone up since 2009 and many people cannot afford to live as they used to because they’re having trouble paying their bills on time so they need money from somewhere else but if they don’t have any then that’s when they hit the wall because it’s very hard to survive when you’re lacking money.

    4. The amount of stress in life

Stress comes in many different forms including financial stress, family stress, emotional stress, physical stress, mental stress, etc. If you’re stressed out 24/7 then you will end up hitting the wall eventually because no one can handle all of this much stress and pressure all at once without ending up hitting the wall eventually but if you can manage your life better by managing your finances better and by managing your stress better then you will be able to handle the amount of stress you are experiencing and you will be able to survive without hitting the wall.

    5. The pressure of being a parent

The pressure of being a parent can also end up causing people to hit the wall because it is very hard to raise kids and take care of them on your own when you’re not getting any help from anyone else but if you manage your life by taking care of yourself well then it shouldn’t be hard for you to handle it.

What Does It Take To Move Up In An Organization?

    1. The ability to work with others

The ability to work with others is very important in an organization because no one person can do everything alone. You need people to help you out and also help each other out because if you’re not able to work well with other people, then it will be very hard for you to make any progress at all in your job.

    2. The ability to manage yourself

Managing yourself is also very important in an organization because no one person can do everything on their own and everyone needs to be able to take care of themselves as well so if you are unable to manage yourself, then that means that no one else will be able to manage themselves either and then your organization will fall apart and not be able to function properly anymore.

    3. The ability to learn new things

The ability to learn new things is also very important in an organization because no one person can do everything on their own and everyone needs many different tasks at once so it’s good if they are able to learn new things while they’re working which means that they won’t get bored or frustrated while they’re working which means that they will be able to perform better as well.

    4. The ability to take criticism well

Taking criticism well is also very important in an organization because even though you may think that you have done a great job or have done something amazing, there may be someone who disagrees or doesn’t agree with what you have done so it’s good if you are able to take criticism well and accept it because if you can’t then that means that there’s a problem with how you are working and if you’re able to accept criticism well, then that means that other people will be able to take criticism better as well.

    5. The ability to keep your cool

The ability to keep your cool is also very important in an organization because no one person can do everything on their own and everyone needs to be able to take care of themselves as well so if you are unable to keep your cool, then that means that no one else will be able to either and then the organization will fall apart and not be able to function properly anymore.

    The Bottom Line

The best way to protect your career and protect your family is to make time for yourself. After all, when you have a family, you’re not just providing for yourself, but for your kids, your partner, and your home. You must take care of yourself too, and carve out time for activities that bring you joy and free up your energy to do more important things. In order to move up in an organization, you must be willing to put in the hard work. It may take years, but you can make positive contributions to your company and society by working at a level that is both challenging and sustainable.
